Monday – Our Creator’s Call
We begin by pausing a few moments to quiet ourselves and to remember that God is, even in this very moment, present to each of us. In this place, in the people we are with, in our very selves.
(pause)
Let us remember… that We are in the Holy Presence of God.
God our Creator,
Daily you call each of us to respond to your love.
Your call is life-giving and you ask us to give life.
Your call is nurturing and you ask us to grow.
Your call is ever faithful and you ask us to believe.
As you call us to unity, help us to be the Church you ask us to be.
As you call us to discipleship, help us to grow in our love of your
Son.
As you call us to love, send us your Spirit that we might know your way.
Through the intercession of St. John Baptist de La Salle, we ask
you to speak loudly your call to us and to those you call to join us.
Give us the strength to respond as Jesus did.
We ask this in His name. Amen.
Saint John Baptist de La Salle… Pray for Us.
Live Jesus in our hearts… Forever.

Let us remember… that We are in the Holy Presence of God.
Lord,
go before to lead us,
behind to prompt us,
under us to support us,
above us to bless us,
around us to protect us;
come within us that we may be a reflection of you
and serve you with body, soul, and mind.
Lord, you create all things,
hold all things together
and make all things possible.
Help us to recall and renew your presence in our lives.
Be with us each step as we continue our journey with you.
Amen.
Saint John Baptist de La Salle… Pray for Us.
Live Jesus in our hearts… Forever.

O Loving God,
You are the author of our lives.
We are your letters to the world.
As our lives unfold while we live them,
keep us in tune with you always.
Let us never be afraid to risk, to step forward in faith,
to conquer our fears and doubts,
and to continue to discover our gifts and talents.
As we discern our way, may your Holy Spirit guide our every step.
We ask this through Jesus, our Teacher, Brother, and Savior.
Amen.
Saint John Baptist de La Salle… Pray for Us.
Live Jesus in our hearts… Forever.

Let us remember… that We are in the Holy Presence of God.
My Lord God,
I have no idea where I am going.
I do not see the road ahead of me.
I cannot know for certain where it will end, nor do I really know
myself, and the fact that I think I am following your will does not mean that I am actually doing so.
But I believe that the desire to please You does in fact please You.
And I hope that I will never do anything apart from that desire.
And I know that if I do this you will lead me by the right road,
though I may know nothing about it.
Therefore, I will trust You always though I may seem to be lost and in the shadow of death, I will not fear for you are ever with me, and You will never leave me to face my perils alone.
Amen.
Saint John Baptist de La Salle… Pray for Us.
Live Jesus in our hearts… Forever.
Friday – The Moment You Live
We begin by pausing a few moments to quiet ourselves and to remember that God is, even in this very moment, present to each of us. In this place, in the people we are with, in our very selves.
(pause)
Let us remember… that We are in the Holy Presence of God.
Stir up your trust in God’s infinite goodness
and honor God by leaving in God’s hands the care of your person.
Be not troubled about the present or disquieted about the future,
but be concerned only about the moment you must now live.
Do not let the anticipation of tomorrow be a burden on the day that is passing.
What you lack in the evening the morrow will bring you, if you
know how to hope in God.
Saint John Baptist de La Salle… Pray for Us.
Live Jesus in our hearts… Forever.
