Lent is a time traditionally for prayer, fasting, and almsgiving.
We commence our Lenten journey on Ash Wednesday, receiving ashes, as a physical marking to enter these next days as we journey toward the hope of Easter.
May these ideas offer some support to your Lenten journey and creating space and time for you to deepen reflection, prayer, and your relationship with a God who is companion on your journey.
Self-Guided Online Retreat
During Lent, we invite you to take a moment to stop and retreat, pray and reflect. For each Sunday of Lent, Lasallian Partners and Christian Brothers will provide an opportunity for prayer, their personal reflection on the mission of the Brothers, and the importance of the Brothers’ vocation.

Meditations
Saint John Baptist de La Salle is founder of the Brothers of the Christian Schools and Patron Saint of Teachers. His writings are a gift to the Church. They both speak to his day (~350 years ago in France) and our own. These are his mediations for the Lenten season, part of a larger collection of mediations for throughout the year, special feasts, and specific meditations for teachers for retreat.
