    This event will celebrate the first vows of two Brothers of the District of Eastern North America. The Brothers will share in this occasion surrounded by their family, friends, colleagues, and others who have supported and journeyed with them in their vocational discernment.

  • Vocation Summit

    Join other young men from Buffalo, Detroit, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, and Toronto to explore your vocation. The day includes a presentation by John Donahue-Grossman, small group discussions, questions & answers session, plus dinner & prayer.

    Born from a suggestion by high school seniors at one of our Lasallian High Schools, this gathering is a compact but meaningful opportunity for young men from DENA’s western region to meet in person and together, be in discussion and prayer around vocation. John Donahue-Grossman will present, and help facilitate small group discussions and questions and answers session. We will conclude with dinner and prayer. We hope you will take your thoughts on vocation to the next level with us!

We all have responsibility for inviting, encouraging, and walking with one another and the young in deepening and discerning God’s call in their lives.

  • World Day of Consecrated Life

    In 1997, Pope Saint John Paul II instituted a day of prayer for women and men in consecrated life. This celebration is attached to the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord on February 2nd. This Feast is also known as Candlemas Day; the day on which candles are blessed symbolizing Christ who is the light of the world. So too, those in consecrated life are called to reflect the light of Jesus Christ to all peoples. The celebration of World Day for Consecrated Life is transferred to the following Sunday in order to highlight the gift of consecrated persons for the whole Church.

    World Day for Consecrated Life is celebrated on February 2nd however, it is observed in parishes on the Sunday after February 2nd. In 2020, this day will be celebrated in parishes February 1-2, 2020.
