The fourteen Brothers in various stages of initial formation (Postulancy, Novitiate, Temporary Profession) from across the United States gathered in Ocean City, NJ for a time of formation and fraternity over President’s Day weekend.
The theme of the time was “Practical Ways of Accompanying Youth as they Journey in Faith” with Father Frank Berna, OFM, of La Salle University guiding the Brothers time together.
Rooted in Scripture, Lasallian spirituality and pedagogy, the Brothers spent the weekend in dialogue, prayer, and community with each other.
The Brothers in Initial Formation gather together in-person twice annually to renew, reconnect, and continue a process of vocational discernment in their lives as Brothers. The weekend allowed for quiet reflection, rich discussion, and fellowship.
