Vocation Discernment Retreat | May 27-29, 2011
Are you a single Catholic male interested in community life, teaching, and prayer...looking for something more in your life?
Vocation discernment retreats are held in Napa, California, at Mont La Salle. A weekend in the peace, quiet, and beauty of the Napa hills is a perfect opportunity to explore the direction of your life, with conversation, common prayer and meals, and plentiful time for personal reflection.
- Retreats begin on Friday morning and end by Sunday afternoon; Thursday evening arrival is okay
- You will be notified and further directions given when your registration has been reviewed and accepted
- There is no cost for the retreat
- Space is limited; early registration is encouraged

Discovery Service Retreat
The Christian Brothers House of Studies in Philadelphia welcomes small groups of accompanied high school students and individual college-aged young people who are discerning a call to Church service as any of the following:
- Brother
- Deacon
- Missioner
- Monk
- Nun
- Priest
- Sister
- Volunteer
When?
Retreats are held for several weeks during the summer months and other times during the academic year by appointment. The programs usually run from dinner time Sundays until after breakfast the following Saturday.
The experience includes
- community prayer and reflection
- apostolic activities with middle school children
- group processing
- individual conversations with one or several Brothers of the Christian Schools
- communal work
- socializing
Chaperone Information
Minors need to be accompanied by a chaperone approved by the student's high school. Groups with girls must be accompanied by an adult female.

$50
(excluding transportation to Philadelphia)
