Novices in Napa

Novice welcomed

Anwar Martinez (DENA) | Lewis Harwood (Australia) | Tony Baginski (DENA)
Michael Miller (DENA) | Ken Kalinowski (DENA )

On Sunday, August 23, 2010, five novices began their year of training as Brothers of the Christian Schools. Set in the western hills of the famous Napa Valley, surrounded by vineyards, the Mont La Salle complex includes: a novitiate; a retreat and conference center; the administrative offices for the Brothers on the West coast; and a retirement community for aging Brothers.

It is here the novices will experience a year of prayer, reflection, reading, classes, conversations, apostolic outreach, and formation in the essential components of a Brother's vocation: the deepening life of faith, the Gospel call to educational service, and the integrating grace of living in community.
